Everyone! Have you found yourself wondering about your relationship to gender? Have you ever felt oppressed, limited, or even confused by the gender binary and your place within it? If so, gender exploration is for you.
What is Gender Sanctuary and who is welcome?
A sacred space to explore. A sanctuary to be in deep relationship with yourself and community while in this process. Whether you are at the beginning of your gender journey, or you have been on it for some time, this sanctuary is here for you.
What inspired me to offer Gender Sanctuary?
For me, one of the gifts of my gender is the beckoning into molten fluidity, the wild vastness of my multiplicitous spirit, and the calling to explore gender in depth. Both as a concept and on a personal level. I am feeling moved to share that.
I am proud to be Trans and to be a Radiant Gender Explorer. There is so much glorious, vibrant rejoicing swirls of sacred energy to discover and taste in the realm of gender. I believe Gender Exploration is open to folks of all genders. That’s part of where the magic resides and the revolution happens.

Our Sanctuary, Step by Step
Creating Our Sanctuary
Settle in as we gently put aside what we know and create a space to welcome and embrace what we don’t. This process begins with introductions, community agreements, and a good, loving look at what we are bringing into the space.
Locating Ourselves in the Present Moment
We will tenderly begin mapping where we are in our gender journey. Locating ourselves in the present moment helps us notice where there’s room for expansion and exploration.
Broadening Our Scope
As multifaceted, complex beings who are apart of a lineage, it is key to look at the broader picture. We’ll check in with our progress over time, our past and future selves, as well as our well, bright ancestors to gain deeper insight into our trajectory.
Identity SoulCollage®
As Rebecca Solnit said “We collage ourselves into being.” Our pieces and parts coming together through love and magic. In this very special long class, Madi Hunt will lead us through the SoulCollage® method where we will each make a piece as unique as we are.
Release and Expand
Pausing and checking in is a form of devotion and dedication. This week, we’ll reflect and make commitments to ourselves as we prepare to move forward. Practices of self-tending such as boundary making, forgiveness, and compassion will help us thrive.
Integration Celebration!
While our sanctuary container comes to a close, your individual sanctuary for gender exploration may go on long after these nine weeks. We’ll work on ways to continue the journey and celebrate all that we’ve done and discovered together!
Bonus! Sanctuary Hours
Spaciousness is a gift I want us all to give to ourselves whenever possible! To help create and facilitate spaciousness in our sanctuary, I will be holding three hours of open space throughout the duration of the course. Similar to office hours, this will be a time to check in and work through any sticky points that are coming up.
Bonus! Discounted Coaching Sessions
For participants of Gender Sanctuary, I am offering discounted one on one coaching sessions from November 5th, 2021 until January 15th, 2022 for $165 per session ($250 value per session). This work can be deep and I want to honor the unfolding by offering additional space holding.

Why am I teaching this course?
I’m teaching this course because I think that Gender Exploration and Excavation could benefit EVERYONE! I also believe this kind of deep dive into gender could help create more embodied awareness and empathy for our Trans and Non-Binary community members who face the oppression and violence of the binary nearly everyday. There is so much to gain by stepping into the magic and widening our understanding of gender beyond the binary.
For me, my gender is at the root of who I am. A foundational element of me and my life on this Earth. Exploring it with support and openness helps me understand parts of my sexuality, my genius, my voice, my career, my purpose, the roles I consent to and love as well as the roles that are pushed upon me.
Having a deeper understanding of gender is like seeing the Matrix. It relates to everything, it is part of our essence and experience on this planet in these bodies. So much of our society is gendered and for what? I believe the gender binary is oppressive to EVERYONE! It creates norms, expectations, and roles that cannot possibly be in alignment with the majority of people on Earth. This course is an invitation to gently explore this together.

It is my belief that we can never actually know another’s gender. I feel fortunate to know so much about my own. As I mentioned before, for me, gender is at the root of my essence. Intertwined with who I am at my very core, with my Spirit, my whole being. I don’t expect to fully know my own being, much less another’s. This humility, and what I would call “right relationship,” really allows for there to be a flow of curiosity, wonder, and true awe.
Learning about, discovering, and exploring my gender is a blessing and a gift. I am in reverence of my gender. I am blown away by the magic, the grandness, the enormity, the timelessness of my being, and therefore, my gender. And because of that, I often find myself in awe of others’ genders, their gender expressions, their qualities, their beings.
Nature is truly abundant and rooted in variety, so why then wouldn’t we be as well? It is my true desire for this course to thaw the icy, hardened binary enough for us all to catch a glimpse of the fascinating, enchanting glory that swims beneath ~ uncensored gender!
